After several days of hissing, bottle-brush tails, barking, and cowering, Poppy (Morgan's dog), Aidan & Brigit seem to be developing some sort of truce. The kitties are still not too happy about the interloper, but things actually seem much less strained than then did when I first adopted Brigit. Aidan was a holy terror back then, trying to starve her to death and fun stuff like that. But this morning both cats came out of their lair (they've taken over Kayla's bedroom) to let me pet them. And they purred a lot. So I think things are fine.
Today's big excitement is that we're getting cable! Woo-hoo! Morgan's at my house with the installation guy right now. Oh, huzzah! I shall watch the history channel and the home & garden channel & & &. :)
What else is new? Morgan is still here and we're having a wonderful time hanging out together. And this waking up to freshly-brewed coffee and a hot breakfast every morning is spoiling me! (Not that I'm complaining, mind you!) Coming home to dinner & pina coladas is also very nice. Not to mention the kiss when I get in the door. :)
Say, would any of you happen to have some sawhorses that you no longer need? We want to set up a worktable in the basement. If so, let me know.
