... the Jesus pan. Who needs those fancy Le Creuset pans we've been eyeing?
Yesterday was a wedding-free day, which greatly helped my sanity. We ended up taking out the new sailboat for the first time! Getting it all ready to go was quite the process - 2 hours struggling with the mast & sails in the parking lot. But we finally figured everything out & made it out onto White Bear Lake. There were a few moments where I clutched the side with white knuckles, but overall I enjoyed it. :)

Us on the boat!
How the hell am I supposed to work full time AND help with drums & the store AND plan a wedding AND do anything around the house AND take care of my freelance clients AND look for a new job?
I can't. I can't do it. Something's gotta give. I am just too overwhelmed.
It makes me so sad.
I ordered my wedding dress today! It's beautiful! :) :) :)
Yesterday I got a letter saying my contract has been renewed until December 11th. There's a possibility of it then being extended until June, but my boss pretty much said to look for something else.
Dec. 11th. WTF? Who decided that one week into the month was a good idea? And, if I actually decide to stick around until the end, what are the odds of a new job wanting me to start until after Jan. 1st? I'm also kind of pissed because I'd been told just a week ago that my boss was sure he'd convinced them to extend me for a whole year.
It takes out the power, phone, & cable tv lines before crushing Morgan's sailboat. The boat he just spent a week fixing and was about to paint.
If you need to get ahold of us in the next few days, I suggest trying my cellphone, as the home phone isn't working and who knows when they'll come and re-string the lines. And we don't have internet at home right now, either. update: Looks like the phone is working even though the lines are on the ground. Ditto for cable/internet. And the power company came & fixed the lines late this morning.
Sigh. Such a great way to start the morning.
Maybe it's just because it's quite early in the morning, but I was overly amused by The Norman Rockwell Code.
